Supervisors

Conservation district supervisors are non-partisan and elected during the May primary. Currently there are 114 supervisors covering 14 conservation districts. Districts consist of 1-6 counties. Each county has 2 supervisors, with the exception of counties with a population in excess of 100,000 which may elect an additional supervisor. Kanawha County of Capitol Conservation District has 5 supervisors and Berkeley County of Eastern Panhandle Conservation District has 3 supervisors.

What we do

WVACD is committed to promoting the importance of conservation in West Virginia. WVACD also allows the conservation districts in WV to gather together to share information and provide a unified voice to the public, other agencies, and the legislature.
