Stronger Together: Leading Through Change and Conflict in Conservation
In a time of ongoing change, evolving partnerships, and differing perspectives, the strength of the Association depends on how well its members work together. This session equips conservation leaders with practical tools to navigate conflict, communicate effectively, and stay focused on shared goals—while respecting the diverse needs of individual districts. Participants will leave with simple, actionable strategies to reduce tension, rebuild trust, and move the organization forward together.

My name is Vicky Fields and I have the knowledge, experience, and passion that you are looking for.

My entire career has focused on helping others succeed. While in restaurants I assisted in opening over 20 new locations and while working in casinos I created and maintained guest service, safety, employee engagement, & leadership development programs and initiatives. Now as a Human Resources Consultant, I help others through goal setting, team building, and communication initiatives that help open doors to create lasting change.

I am also an active member of my community as I believe that to live in a good place you must be a part of it. I am the current President of Wild & Wonderful Toastmasters, Board Member for Jefferson County Parks & Rec, Treasurer for the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, and proud recipient of the 2022 Chuck Ellison Distinguished Citizen of the Year Award.

I bring both an operations and systems background to all my projects and have made it a personal mission to not let training be boring. By understanding how people learn and bringing information to them in a way that is actionable we can give your team the tools they need to be safe and succeed.
